The story behind the song
Take me Higher
The rush of the night, and a connection worth holding on to.

In my own words
Behind the track
With Take me Higher, I’m exploring the pull of a night you don’t want to end. The lights, the movement and the sound offer a little distance from whatever has been weighing on you. There’s a wish to let go and feel weightless, even while everything around you is moving faster.
Someone is there in the middle of it, asking you not to let go. Even as the chorus reaches for something bigger, the question “Will you hear me now?” stays with me. There’s a need for connection running through all that energy, and some uncertainty about whether it will hold.
“We won’t come down” is the promise the chorus wants to believe. Then the bridge asks for one more chance before we do. For me, that’s what gives the song its tenderness: wanting a moment that feels this alive to last, and wanting someone beside you while it does.

Where the fear starts letting go”
