Behind the remix
I had a go at turning Kaskade & Crankdat’s A Little Bit into drum and bass.
I kept the vocals and synth chords and built from there. New drums, more bass, and some pieces of the vocal to play around with.
The synth sounds took a while. I’m a sucker for synths, which doesn’t necessarily make choosing one any easier. In the end, the keys worked better sitting a bit further back.
I didn’t want a fade-out either. One last hit, a bass wobble and a few echoes felt more like it.
